HP Series Linear Diaphragm Air Pumps HP-200 by Hiblow
The HP-200 is the heart of your aerobic system. Without it, your system won’t work as it should. That’s why the HP-200 does two important things: first, it oxygenates the water and creates an environment perfect for aerobic bacteria growth. These bacteria are essential because they eat all the waste in your tank and do it faster than anaerobic bacteria found in typical septic systems. Secondly, the air pump breaks down large solid particles into small bits so that those aerobic bacteria can easily digest them.
But if your pump malfunctions or doesn’t run for two weeks, you’ll be looking at a problem – anaerobic bacteria will start to grow instead of aerobic ones and that means there will be waste buildup in your tank. To prevent this, you should make sure to maintain and keep your system up and running. Don’t forget about that!

- Models HP-150 to HP-200 come with a straight rubber adapter that fits 3/4″ barb (or can be cut to fit?1/2″ or 5/8″ barb) or slide over weighted?3/8″ ID tubing.?3/4″ direct burial will connect to the provided rubber elbow with 3/4″ barb-to-barb adapter #1429-007. Heat burial tubing and clamp as recommended.
